The park is only 1 mile from Cirencester town centre, where several centuries of buildings blend together creating this striking 'Capital of the Cotswolds'. Cirencester possesses a variety of attractions of which the parish church, Corinium Museum and park are all outstanding examples.

The 10,000 acre Park, which spreads right into the centre of town is the venue for a number of equestrian events, including polo that takes place every Sunday in the summer.

Cirencester offers an excellent range of shops and it is easy to spend time exploring the Roman amphitheatre, the abbey park and gatehouse and the regular crafts and antique fairs in the Corn Hall and Bungham Hall.
